Sophie Bushong is the Collegiate Director at the University of Denver. She enjoyed several sports growing up, but lacrosse was what she gave most of her time to. She was introduced to FCA in middle school and had the opportunity to start a ladies huddle in high school with her best friend. Seeing FCA transform lives in high school led to further involvement during her time at Wheaton College —

 

She served as a huddle leader at summer camps and volunteered at a local high school. After years of being involved as an athlete and volunteer with FCA, it only made sense to come on staff full time! Upon graduating, Sophie came on staff in Colorado, serving the coaches and athletes at the University of Denver. It is a privilege for her to engage, equip, and empower athletes with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Jesus is using this ministry at the University of Denver and beyond to make His name known, and to transform lives.
